20 California Centers Magazine | August 2016 C C monthly basis, it's a legacy that con- tinues to evolve. Kirkland's success in the market- place is also the result of having cre- ated a great place to shop as well as to work. The company takes pride in knowing its product selection and the knowledge of its team members engender a passion for impacting its customers' decisions on home décor and gift purchases. An initial visit to a Kirkland's store reveals just how dis- tinctive the concept is in the market- place. Each store environment encour- ages both the associates and customers to explore new avenues of creative expression, and to have a passion for designing and outfitting their home interiors. This unique experience is continually being improved upon to keep the brand fresh in the minds of its loyal clientele, while simultane- ously attracting a new customer base. Kirkland's key categories of merchan- dise, that encompass every facet of home decorating and furnishings, include outdoor spaces; furniture for every room in the home; art and wall décor, mirrors, lighting, décor and pil- lows, rugs and curtains, kitchen and entertaining, gifts and holiday themed merchandise.
