positioned in newly developed or up-
dated open-air shopping centers an-
chored by nationally recognized gro-
cery, sporting goods, and drug store
tenants, and additionally featuring a
mix of restaurant, retail and commer-
cial uses. The preference is for in-line
or end cap positioning, with an exclu-
sive specified on the sale of smoothies,
fruit juice and wheatgrass beverages
within the center.
The founders of Blenders In The
Grass are proud of the company's
history of being actively involved in
the surrounding community. Each
store does its part in supporting and
improving the trade zone it serves,
by contributing to the needs of local
schools, athletic teams and organiza-
tions through donations and spon-
sorships (a strategy that benefits both
its loyal patrons and the company's

filiations have been: sponsor of local
girls volleyball leagues and UCSB
Gaucho basketball; providing smooth-
ies to local middle and high school
lunch programs; guest lecturers for
college study programs; drop off sites
for canned food drives; thousands of
dollars in gift certificates donated to
school charity, team and organization-
al fund raisers; financial support of
little league teams; sponsoring region-
al athletic association and semi-pro
